Idler
Idlers are vital to the conveying process. They support the belt and conveyed material along its full length preventing it from stretching, sagging and eventually failing.
Different Idlers/Rollers are used according to belt’s width i.e., 300 mm to 2400 mm
CARRYING IDLER
It is an idler upon which the load carrying portion of beltings is supported. This idler is used to carry or move the material forward.
RETURN IDLER
The purpose of using a return idler is to support the belt from the return side to prevent stretching, sagging and failure of the belt, which increases the service life of the conveyor belt.
IMPACT IDLER
Impact idlers are installed at the tail of the conveyor system to support the conveyor belt and the material it carries, reducing the impact on the conveyor belt itself.
GUIDE ROLLER
It is a roller free to rotate and is used to limit or guide the belt within the limits of a defined path of the conveyor belt.
SELF-CLEANING RUBBER DISK RETURN IDLER
The rubber disc return idlers are similar to the flat return idlers, but have rubber discs strategically placed along the roll, as opposed to a steel shell found on the flat returns. These idlers are used to clean the belt carrying sticky materials.
